JOB SUMMARY:
The Cassette Rework Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and reworking cassette parts in compliance with standardized procedures. The role ensures safe handling of equipment and chemicals, adherence to gowning protocols, and proper operation of pallet jacks to maintain workplace safety and product quality.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Safety
  • Wear safety boots and nitrile gloves, follow correct lifting posture, and operate pallet jacks within permissible load limits.
Equipment Handling
  • Safely load, transport, and unload cassettes using pallet jacks, ensuring proper distribution of loads.
Chemical Handling
  • Store and use IPA correctly, wear safety goggles, and follow procedures for transferring chemicals.
Gowning & Ungowning
  • Follow gowning steps (mask, hair net, smock, gloves, boots) and ungowning procedures to prevent contamination.
Cassette Stacking
  • Stack GHD cassettes safely (max 18 boxes, 3 layers) and ALU cassettes (max 1 box).
Carton Box Handling
  • Use penknives carefully when dismantling pallets/carton boxes, ensuring focus and safe practices.
Housekeeping
  • cleanliness, dispose of unused chemicals, and replace gloves after chemical handling.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualification
  • Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
Experience
  • No experience are welcome.
Skills (Must Have)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety procedures
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and basic tools safely.
  • Attention to detail in gowning, chemical handling, and cassette inspection.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Others
  • Physically fit to handle lifting and manual tasks.
  • Willingness to work in semi-cleanroom and warehouse environments.
