JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting all machine-related activities, including preventive maintenance, quality and yield
troubleshooting, process evaluations, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery and supporting equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Production team on yield improvement initiatives, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of process or equipment-related issues.
- Monitor equipment and production line performance, identify abnormalities, and maintain the Keep -In-View (KIV) log for proper tracking, follow-up, and escalation.
- Support engineering evaluations and data collection activities, including trial runs, calibration verification, machine qualification, and performance validation.
- Assist in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation in accordance with company procedures.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualification
- Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience
- 0–5 years’ experience in manufacturing / semiconductor equipment
Skills (Must Have)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for data entry, analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prepare clear technical reports and present findings effectively.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to support shop-floor activities and troubleshooting.
Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of motion control systems, including pneumatic systems, servo motors, and associated controls.
- Understanding of thermofluid principles, including fluid mechanics and heat transfer applications.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferably Mitsubishi Q-Series PLCs.
- Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, automation, or high-precision equipment environments.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
Others
- Cleanroom Manufacturing / production environment.
- Hands-on equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and process support.
- Support may be required during off-hours or equipment downtime recovery activities as needed.
