JOB SUMMARY:
Implement strategies to maximize existing storage capacity by exploring potential of new materials/structure for magnetic layers, simulating exchange coupling between magnetic layers & predict next material selection of hard disk media based on magnetic properties of materials. Atomic scales simulation for surface layers also needed for new hard disk media
development.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To do simulation for magnetic exchange coupling between magnetic layers
- To do estimation/prediction for next material selection for magnetic layers based on magnetic properties.
- To suggest new structure for hard disk media based on head media modelling
- Conduct studies on Molecular dynamics simulation of surface atoms arrangement on etching layer & interlayers.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualification
- PhD in Nanomaterials Engineering or Chemistry Engineering
Experience
- Research in nanomaterials
Skills (Must Have)
- Material science modeling and simulation
- Molecular dynamics simulation
Skills (Good to Have)
- Python Coding
- Materials Characterization Skills, ie XRD, AFM, ESCA/XPS
